Made with conviction. Worn with ease.
MAEVEN was founded in Paris in 2019 by Céleste Moreau, a former head designer at a major French fashion house who left to build something quieter, more considered, and entirely her own.
The story of the house.
Céleste spent twelve years designing for other houses before she decided that what she actually wanted to make was the opposite of fashion — clothes that didn't announce themselves, that worked harder the longer you owned them, that became more themselves with wear.
MAEVEN launched with six pieces in 2019, sold through a single Instagram post. Within 48 hours, all six had found homes. A year later, the collection had grown to eighteen pieces and a small atelier on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine.
Today, MAEVEN makes two collections a year — never more. Each piece is produced in limited quantities, made in France, and designed to outlast the season it arrived in.

Craft over quantity
We make fewer pieces than we could. Every one is better for it.
Made in France
Our atelier is in Paris. Our partner workshops are in Lyon and Toulouse. This will not change.
No trends
We design for women who already know what they like. We are not here to tell them what to want.
